This piece, “pretty birds” is a continuation of brilliant work done by Craig Reynolds (boids) and Joshua Koo (flocking). I used Reynolds’s simulation and Koo’s code to explore subtractive color through emergent behavior. The flock avoids your cursor — try it out.
